Key Requirements (Before Applying)

This role is open to: ✔ UK HCPC-registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologists ✔ Those eligible for UK insurer recognition ✔ Candidates committing to one late afternoon and evening clinic ✔ Psychologists able to see clients in person at the Hampstead clinic

If you’re not HCPC registered, lack evening availability, or can’t work in Hampstead, this role may not be suitable.

What We Offer

Eligibility Criteria

Seeking Clinical or Counselling Psychologists with:

  • Post-doctoral experience (NHS or private settings preferred)
  • UK HCPC registration (or eligibility) as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or equivalent UK-recognised qualification
  • Insurer recognition (e.g., WPA, Cigna)
  • 4+ hours/week (ideal: 4–6+) in primary care, with flexibility across:
    • Anxiety
    • OCD
    • Trauma
    • Burnout
    • Relationship difficulties
    • Neurodiversity

Bonus experience: 🔸 CBT, ACT, CFT, EMDR, Schema therapy 🔸 Couples therapy 🔸 Evidence-based schema models

Key Responsibilities

✔ Conduct assessment and formulation ✔ Provide evidence-based interventions ✔ Manage caseload ethically and autonomously ✔ Comply with GDPR, HCPC standards, and professional lending guidelines


Eligibility for International Applicants

We accept qualifications from: ✔ UK-recognised countries:

  • Ireland, Australia, NZ, South Africa, Hong Kong (doctorate)
  • USA/Canada (PhD/PsyD in Clinical/Counselling Psychology)
  • Singapore (Doctor of Clinical Psychology)

Note for European/Scandinavian applicants: Training at the master’s level typically does not qualify; additional HCPC recognition is usually required.

In-person required at Hampstead, London.
