HE Motorsport Lecturer

Lecturer in Motorsport (Higher Education)

Location: Preston Salary: £28,000 – £31,000 (Unqualified) | Up to £39,000 (Qualified) Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent


Are you ready to play a key role in educating the next generation of motorsport engineers?

We are seeking an experienced and committed individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Motorsport, delivering high-quality teaching to our Higher Education students.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of a dynamic and industry-relevant curriculum, supporting students in developing both their academic understanding and practical skills.
  • Use your knowledge, professional experience, and enthusiasm for motorsport engineering to guide students through their studies and prepare them for progression into the sector.
  • Engage students in applied projects, collaborative learning, and real-world problem-solving, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed for a successful future in motorsport and related fields.
  • Leverage access to state-of-the-art facilities and strong industry links to deliver an engaging, practical learning experience.

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential:

  • A Degree in Motorsport Engineering (or a closely related discipline).
  • Proven professional experience within the motorsport industry.
  • Teaching qualifications are not required; however, all costs associated with achieving full teaching qualifications will be fully funded for the successful candidate.

Salary Structure:

  • Unqualified Teacher: £28,000 – £31,000 per annum.
  • Qualified Teacher: Up to £39,000 per annum.
