Key Responsibilities

  • Set the bar for operational rigor and accountability, creating a sustainable, trusted, and resilient Operations function that performs at the highest level.
  • Drive process alignment, simplification, and continuous improvement by maintaining a relentless focus on execution, measurable outcomes, and delivery against Operations KPIs.
  • Identify, prioritise, and execute operational excellence opportunities, removing friction and accelerating delivery.
  • Define standard Operations processes, leading design, testing, execution, and rollout of end-to-end process and system enhancements.
  • Own the Operations governance and quality assurance framework, embedding risk appetite, controls, and a proactive risk culture globally.
  • Build frameworks and operational discipline, ensuring portfolio data is trusted, usable, and actionable for analytics and decision-making.
  • Turn standardisation and automation opportunities into delivered improvements, enabling scalable growth and stronger business performance.
  • Build and energise a global community of Operations experts, establishing clear roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and shared standards.
  • Create compelling career paths, attracting, developing, and retaining outstanding Operations talent globally.
  • Lead and deliver strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring clear ownership, strong stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with regional teams, Market Units, COO, CUO, and partners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
