About the Role: Head Cashier
As the Head Cashier, your role goes far beyond cash transactions. This dynamic position demands bold leadership, an unshakable commitment to security, and a deep passion for delivering world-class customer service. You’ll market the benchmark for cash desk excellence—balancing precise financial vigilance with warm, engaging guest interactions.
This is a multifaceted, high-energy role, requiring a unique fusion of attention to detail, strong emotional intelligence, and an unwavering drive for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the cash desk team to ensure seamless operations and adherence to structured procedures.
- Oversee confidential and highly regulated cash-handling transactions, maintaining strict compliance with UK gambling legislation.
- Safeguard the casino’s reputation by upholding rigorous security protocols while ensuring impeccable customer satisfaction.
- Set the agenda for exceptional service standards, fostering positive guest experiences and loyalty.
- Foster a positive team culture, mentoring staff and driving continuous performance improvements.
- Delegate tasks efficiently, prioritise workload, and troubleshoot cash-related queries and disputes.
- Collaborate with other departments as a liaison for cash-related operations, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Maintain a hype, inviting atmosphere around the cash desk area to align with the overall casino vibe.
- Ensure compliance with nightικα regulations and operational standards during 24/7 service.

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Cashier with an outstanding track record in accurate transaction handling.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK gambling, financial and regulatory legislation as it pertains to cash-handling environments.
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to train, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Valid PFL (Personal Frontline Licence), issued and endorsed by the UK Gambling Commission.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by a warm, engaging personality tailored to entertaining and servicing diverse guests.
- Resilience to work in a fast-paced casino environment, including night shifts, weekends, and rotating hours as required.
- Must be 18+ years and have valid work rights in the UK/ROC.
