In partnership with Legal & General PLC and NatWest Pension Trustee Limited, with hugely ambitious (and very achievable) growth plans, we are seeking a Head Chef to manage our expanding kitchen team.
You will lead on all kitchen activities within the village, ensuring the menu is delicious and food is prepared and presented to the correct standards and quality.
The Role
- Managing the full food service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Ensuring that all food is correctly prepared and presented to residents in line with the correct standards and quality
- Creating and executing an exciting and appetising menu, which takes into consideration dietary requirements and allergens
- Supporting and instructing the kitchen team in correct food preparation techniques
- Ensuring the restaurant complies with all policies and procedures relating to the delivery of the restaurant service
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
- Giving an outstanding customer experience to our residents and guests.

Key Requirements
- Previous experience of working as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a busy environment
- Qualified in Food Hygiene - minimum of Level 3 in Food Safety or equivalent
- Good numeracy and literacy skills and an eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent management skills with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
- Creativity and passionate for food design, preparation, nutrition, and presentation.
