About The Role
As Head Chef, you will:
- Report directly to the Executive Chef, leading a passionate culinary team dedicated to excellence and innovation.
- Craft dynamic menus that align with seasonal local produce and modern Scottish cuisine.
- Uphold impeccable standards in food quality, presentation, safety, hygiene, and consistency.
- Deliver innovative, unforgettable dining experiences in the resort’s 5-star luxury setting.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a high-performing restaurant kitchen team to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
- Design and execute innovative menus, championing local, seasonal produce, and distinctive Scottish flavors.
- Maintain diligence in food safety, hygiene, and compliance (HACCP, health standards).
- Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships while adhering to cost-control targets.
- Oversee kitchen training, scheduling, and daily operations to exceed guest expectations.
- Collaborate with senior culinary leadership to support the resort’s ongoing refinements.
Requirements
To excel in this leadership role, you must:
- Hold proven experience as a Sous/Head Chef in a luxury hotel (5-star/3-roseette) or high-end culinary setting.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership dedicated to coaching and fostering a high-equity culture.
- Possess a strong grasp of HACCP, food safety standards, and kitchen compliance.
- Embrace a creative, forward-thinking approach to menu design and guest experience.
- Stay calm, organised, and decisive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
