About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our busy restaurant operation, delivering high-quality breakfast and lunch services from Monday to Friday. This role involves leading kitchen operations, managing the team, and driving growth while delivering strategic planning for profitability.
You'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring strict adherence to client, company, and statutory regulations—while aligning with current food service trends and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee and control every aspect of the restaurant's catering operation and budget management.
- Supervise meal production, ensuring compliance with client requirements, company policies, and statutory regulations.
- Plan, coordinate and place orders for food from nominated suppliers.
- Develop and implement growth strategies to align with high street trends.

- Monitor stock management and costs to meet agreed financial targets.
Professional & Personal Requirements
- Proven leadership from a previous Head Chef or Chef Manager role.
- Demonstrated expertise in hospitality food production, including budget management.
- Self-driven with the ability to lead catering operations without direct supervision.
- Level 3 Food Safety qualifications (or equivalent).
- Appearance and conduct must be clean, professional, and well-presented.
- Strong collaborative skills—able to build a positive team culture.
- Low absence rate with a reliable work history.
