Job Description
We are looking for an exceptional Head Chef to lead the culinary operation at 4 Cannon Street. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for delivering outstanding food quality, inspiring a high-performing kitchen team and ensuring the highest standards of food safety, consistency and innovation.
At BaxterStorey, food is at the heart of everything we do. You will have the freedom to be creative, work with seasonal and sustainable ingredients, and play a key role in shaping a food offer that exceeds client and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team, creating a positive and inclusive culture
- Deliver high-quality, fresh and seasonal food aligned with BaxterStorey’s food ethos
- Plan, develop and cost menus, ensuring commercial viability and innovation
- Maintain exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene and compliance (HACCP)
- Manage kitchen budgets, GP, stock control and ordering effectively
- Work closely with site management and clients to deliver a seamless food service
- Ensure consistency across all services, including hospitality and events where applicable
- Champion sustainability, waste reduction and responsible sourcing

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
- Passionate about fresh food, quality ingredients and modern cooking techniques
- A natural leader with excellent people management and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety, allergen management and health & safety
- Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and food costs
- Organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
