Head Chef – Join The Restaurant Group (TRG)

Our kitchen comes alive as early as 3 AM, and the variety of shifts promises a vibrant and ever-changing work landscape.
Leading our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding dining experiences, ensuring guests always leave happy. Your role includes:
- Maintaining brand standards and food quality
- Collaborating with the award-winning food team to drive collective success
- Upholding the excellence that our beloved restaurant brands are known for
The Restaurant Group (TRG) unites over 300 fantastic restaurants and pubs across the UK, including iconic brands like Wagamama’s and Barburrito. With 40 years in hospitality, we pride ourselves on crafting unforgettable experiences that wow.

What we’re looking for
The ideal Head Chef will have:
✔ Extensive experience in fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environments ✔ Proficiency with a variety of kitchen appliances and optimal utilisation strategies ✔ Deep culinary knowledge, including ingredients, processes, and techniques ✔ Strong hospitality management skills ✔ Financial acumen, with a clear understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ✔ Compliance expertise, including Health & Safety and Licensing Laws ✔ Exceptional communication and leadership abilities ✔ Ruthless organisation and multitasking prowess
