The Alice Lisle

The Alice Lisle is a listed pub set in the New Forest countryside. Something of a dining destination, the pub has a great reputation for food, attracting a diverse mix of customers including families, walkers and local foodies.

We have big plans for The Alice Lisle, and we are looking for a sharp, sales-driven Head Chef to help us execute them. We love where we are in Ringwood, and our goal is simple: to make our pub the definitive place to be in the New Forest for any occasion, deeply rooted in the local community.

We’ve just launched Betty, our brand-new pizza truck out in the garden, and we want to seriously expand our events and outdoor offering. You will be stepping in to take full control of the food operation, working alongside Dan, Luke, and Ollie to drive sales and push the business forward.

If you are naturally competitive, commercial-minded, and thrive on the pace of a busy kitchen, this is the perfect spot to make your mark.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
