Head Chef
Location: Milton Keynes Contract: Retail & some Hospitality Hours: Monday to Friday

About the Role
We’re looking for a visionary Head Chef—someone who inspires, mentors, and elevates both their team and the standards of workplace hospitality. This role is perfect for a culinary leader who thrives in collaboration, values creativity, and is driven by excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Inspire and guide your team to deliver exceptional culinary standards, fostering a culture of innovation and brilliant food experiences.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, communicating clearly and collaboratively.
- Team Development: Mentor, train, and mentor staff to drive professional growth, recognising and nurturing talent.
- Performance Excellence: Set rigorous standards for food quality, service, and operational efficiency while driving business-critical KPIs (including Health & Safety, Sustainability, Financial, and Governance targets).
- Creative Edge: Push boundaries in culinary innovation, ensuring high-quality, innovative menus that delight customers.
- Strategic Vision: Align culinary direction with business objectives, balancing creativity, commercial performance, and operational excellence.

Essential Requirements
- Proven Leadership: A track record as a Head Chef or equivalent, demonstrating executive expertise in food service.
- Culinary Obsession: A genuine passion for food, quality, and creating unforgettable dining experiences.
- Team Management: Strong ability to train, mentor, and support staff at all levels, fostering a collaborative culture.
- Commercial Analysist: Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and driving commercial results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills, with compassionate leadership.
- Multitasking & Adaptability: Capable of prioritising complex projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment—thriving under pressure.
- Obsessive Attention to Detail: Uncompromising standards in every aspect of food preparation and service.
- Strategic Thinker: Critical reasoning, innovative problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
