Job Title: Head Chef

Job Description As a Head Chef, you’ll:

  • Ensure everything in the kitchen runs smoothly during a busy service.
  • Optimise team performance by:
    • Encouraging consistent collaboration.
    • Building a culture where everyone exceeds standards.
  • Guarantee every dish served is of the highest standards.

Qualifications & Responsibilities As a Head Chef, you will need to:

  • Take the reins in the kitchen:
    • Make decisive operational and strategic decisions.
    • Introduce innovative methods to improve team dynamics and efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly with your team to:
    • Deliver high-quality meals to customers on time.
  • Lead the team cohesively, leveraging individual strengths to maximise collective potential.
  • Maintain:
    • Professional hygiene in all kitchen operations.
    • Adherence to all relevant UK food safety regulations (HACCP, food hygiene certification, Kitchens Swinging Raffles results reporting, etc.).
    • Health/safety standards for all team members and guests.
