Head Chef Live In Available

We are looking for a Head Chef to join The Plough, an award-winning pub blending traditional charm with stylish interiors, seasonal food, and a vibrant outdoor space. The Plough is known for quality, creativity, and genuine hospitality.

Requirements

  • Pride in preparing fresh food made from seasonal, local ingredients.
  • Great leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive on the fast pace of the kitchen.
  • Ability to set and maintain the very highest standards for yourself and others.
  • Ability to take full control of the food side of the business.
  • A great communicator who can keep calm under pressure.
  • Creativity to bring new ideas and implement new cooking techniques.
  • Pride in every successful service.
  • A hygiene qualification, excellent food knowledge, and food safety awareness are essential.

  • Mentor and develop junior chefs.
  • Continue to grow your own skills.
  • Contribute to maintaining a supportive and inspiring kitchen environment.
