Responsibilities
You’ll lead your kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals that residents genuinely enjoy. Your key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring every dish supports residents' health and well-being, accounting for individual dietary needs, cultural preferences, and nutritional requirements
- Guaranteeing full compliance with food safety standards (HACCP), stock management, budgets, and orders
- Coordinating with central teams to maintain nutritional excellence
- Organising kitchen operations for maximum efficiency and smooth workflow
- Enhancing mealtimes with inviting, ambient dining experiences—recognising that great food in a welcoming setting can enrich residents’ lives
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- S-/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery
- Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Demonstrated proficiency in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)

- Outstanding organisational skills with capability for meticulous planning (e.g., ingredient sourcing, staff rosters)
- Proven dedication to exceptional service and quality

- Commitment to uphold thorough safeguarding standards and report concerns promptly
Safeguarding is non-negotiable. You must:
- Complete role-appropriate safeguarding training
