Head Chef – Central London£42,000 | Monday–Friday | 37.5 hours (8am–4pm)
About The Role
We’re looking for a confident and experienced Head Chef to join a high-profile Central London site, reporting directly into the General Manager.
This is a well-structured, multi-service operation offering a mix of breakfast, lunch, and hospitality. It’s a fast-paced environment, but with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and team leadership rather than late nights or weekend work.
You’ll lead the kitchen team day-to-day, taking ownership of food standards, service delivery, and kitchen operations, while working closely with the General Manager to ensure overall site success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the kitchen team in a high-volume, service-led environment Deliver consistently high-quality food across all services Support the General Manager in maintaining smooth, efficient operations Oversee food preparation, service, and presentation standards Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and COSHH standards Coach and develop team members to drive performance Maintain a positive, structured, and professional kitchen culture

About You
Experienced Head Chef or strong Senior Sous/Chef Manager ready to step up Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments A strong team leader with a calm and organised approach Able to build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders Hands-on, reliable, and solutions-focused Passionate about delivering consistently high-quality food
