Head Chef– Sedgebrook Hall, Northampton | Full-Time / Permanent

We’re looking for...

We're looking for an inspiring Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Sedgebrook Hall, creating exceptional dining experiences while driving innovation and supporting our sustainability goals. Working closely with the General Manager and senior leadership team, you'll lead and develop a passionate kitchen team, maintain the highest food quality and hygiene standards, and play a key role in the continued success of the venue. If you thrive in a busy, well-equipped kitchen and are passionate about delivering memorable food experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

The Venues Collection; part of Levy UK & Ireland, is a grouping of five, easily accessible properties located across the UK. With an array of both contemporary and historic meeting spaces, they also cater for every memorable moment: from christenings to birthdays, engagement parties to weddings and anniversaries to celebrations of life. Head Chef– The role

Our Head Chef role is a key position in the future development of this exciting business and will be instrumental in achieving our sustainability goals

  • You will work closely with the GM and the senior leadership team, developing an outstanding culinary experience for all guests

What we’re looking for

  • You will play a pivotal role in the kitchen and must be quick-thinking, adaptable and calm under pressure. You will be ambitious, confident, and resilient, someone who take a hands-on approach and enjoys leading a talented brigade
  • You will have a real passion for fresh ingredients and enjoy creating stunning dishes time and time again, with a proven track record in high quality environments
  • Confidence is key with the ability to demonstrate your own style with finesse and flair and illustrate how you keep pace with food trends and translate them to exciting and appealing menu and food offers
  • We have a guest first approach and you will showcase how you are able to adapt style to a broad range of experiences
  • You will be commercially minded with evidence of successfully managing costs in line with exceptional delivery and evidence experience of supervising or managing people
  • You will have the experience and confidence to work with online food ordering, food waste management systems, as well as Menu Planning applications.
  • This is not a 9-5 role and you will be expected to work to the business needs during the relevant service periods including weekends.
  • You will also have a proven track record of exemplary food safety and hygiene.
