Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Head Fishmonger to lead our established and popular fish stall at The Goods Shed in Canterbury. This role is vital in ensuring the freshness and quality of our already popular fish stall.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the fish stall, ensuring high standards of quality and freshness.
- Manage fishmongers and support staff, providing training and guidance.
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations.
- Source high-quality seafood from trusted suppliers.
- Prepare and display seafood products attractively for customers.
- Monitor and manage stock rotation efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a fishmonger.
- Strong knowledge of seafood types, sourcing, and storage.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Commitment to food safety standards.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food hall environment is preferred.

Pay: £30,000.00-£39,500.00 per year
