Set on the banks of the River Avon in the beautiful Roman city of Bath this is an amazing opportunity to represent the global Gordon Ramsay restaurant brand. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and outgoing Head Host to join our truly talented team to play a key role in the opening of our Gordon Ramsay Bread Street Kitchen at DoubleTree by Hilton Bath. The ideal person for this role will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills whilst creating a warm and memorable first impression for every guest. You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop. What you do as a Head Host: You pride yourself on being the first and last point of contact within the restaurant, welcoming guests. You’re passionate about delivering fantastic and engaging service to all our guests You’re responsible for managing the restaurant booking system, optimising covers, and ensuring all guest requests are effectively communicated to the restaurant teams You lead, develop, and motivate the hosting team to ensure the team deliver the ultimate guest experience You love to ensure that each guest is mad to feel welcome, comfortable, and receives prompt and polite service during their dining experience You are confident in managing, training and passing on your knowledge to the more junior members of the team You naturally enjoy building rapport with others Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing Previous experience in hotels or premium high volume quality Restaurants is preferred Having these core skills will put you one step further to joining Axiom Hospitality and the team at DoubleTree by Hilton Bath. You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
