About Us

Sofitel London-Heathrow is an award-winning hotel that is the perfect blend of style and convenience. With 605 spacious ensuite rooms plus a selection of restaurants and bars showcasing fresh international flavours. Our luxurious hotel is connected to terminal 5 and has spa and fitness facilities. The 45 meeting rooms include a flexible ballroom accommodating up to 1,300 delegates.

A Bit About What You Will Do

The Head Housekeeper in our luxurious hotel assists in overseeing housekeeping operations to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout, creating a welcoming and immaculate environment that consistently exceeds guests’ expectations.

  • Ensure the housekeeping team maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Be a hands-on and visible leader to the team, motivating them with your passion for hospitality and desire to improve.
  • Guide the Housekeeping team to ensure company brand standards of quality and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
  • Support departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures.
  • Manage staffing levels to cover business demands.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Address any guest concerns promptly, attentively, and efficiently.
  • Coach, train, and support the team to provide consistently high standards while continually looking to improve.
  • Deputise in the absence of Head Housekeeper.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership and motivational abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and drive to maintain high standards.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
  • Proven experience in managing, coaching, challenging, and developing teams.
  • Approachable and positive manner with a “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to use initiative in challenging situations and under pressure.
  • A smart and professional appearance.
  • Proven track record in a similar position within a 5-star hotel.
  • Experience in conducting departmental and Health and Safety training.
  • Proficient in computer and financial skills.
  • Excellent standard of English, both written and spoken.
