About The Role
Your focus as Head Housekeeper will be to oversee the housekeeping and laundry cleaning services in support of the hospitality services function to ensure a high-quality and comprehensive care service is delivered to all residents.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out all cleaning duties as per the housekeeping job description.
- Preparing orders for Home Manager approval, including all cleaning materials, with approval from suppliers whilst ensuring:
- Procedures for maintaining appropriate stock levels and controls are complied with.
- Only high-quality products are purchased within agreed budget limits.
- Monitoring standards of work of the housekeeping and laundry team to ensure high cleanliness standards are always maintained.
- Supervising and directing the work of the housekeeping team, providing:
- Instructions and demonstrations to new staff on cleaning tasks and materials.
About You

Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a candidate with:
- Experience in cleaning and managing laundry in a public setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety, particularly:
- Moving and handling techniques.
- Fire safety.
- COSHH assessments.
- Strong compassion and commitment to delivering a high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.
- Leadership skills, including the ability to supervise, develop, and manage teams.
