Head Nurse

Brand new clinic in Beaconsfield!

Creature Comforts is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Nurse to join our innovative veterinary team. As Head Nurse, you will lead our nursing staff, ensuring the highest standards of care for our animal patients while fostering a supportive and positive work environment. You will play a critical role in enhancing the veterinary care experience by integrating bespoke technology and maintaining our state-of-the-art facilities.

  • Proven experience as a head nurse in a veterinary setting or extensive experience as an RVN that has the strong capability to step into a Head Nurse role.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary nursing practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work with bespoke veterinary technology
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the nursing team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
  • Oversee daily operations within the clinic, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other staff to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and technology
  • Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies and medications
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay current with advancements in veterinary care
