What You’ll Do: As a Head of accounting at Eutelsat, you will play a key role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our growth. Your key responsibilities will include: Restructure and organise the accounting and finance team Responsible for the One Web Consolidation for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. Strong knowledge of IFRS & statutory reporting in compliance with IFRS and FRS102 recognized accounting standards. Be the main point of contact with local auditors and gatekeeper of content in the final statutory accounts at year end. Interact with Group on Interim Audit and Final year end audit for the Eutelsat Group audit. Advise Group on key system developments and improvements and participate in key finance transformation initiatives. Establish strong interfaces with business functions (Sales, Logistics, etc.) and Management Control Bring accounting operations under control, focusing on four key risk areas: Fixed assets, Inventory, Revenue recognition and monitoring, Accounts payable. Upskill and empower the local team (historically dependent on a hands-on manager compensating for gaps). Act as the main point of contact for local authorities regarding financial reporting and performance managementy. Implement a process-driven organization across finance activities. Lead and coordinate Group-level projects with UK teams, including: Carve-out, SAP deployment, European Consortium initiatives.

What You’ll Need: Fluent English (both written and spoken) is essential in an international environment. Ideally Big 4 trained or with a recognized accounting professional body with experience of dealing with Big 4 industry audits. Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) management within a complex, multi-entity organization, with strong team leadership responsibility. Solid expertise in SAP HANA and One Stream within a large-scale finance environment (group or international company). Strong proficiency in Esker and advanced Excel capabilities for reporting, analysis, and process automation. Demonstrated ability to operate independently while effectively partnering with cross-functional, internal, and external stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment. Ability to structure, improve, and secure accounting processes in a transformation context.
