Head of Accounts Payable
The Head of Accounts Payable will lead the accounts payable function within a global private equity firm, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments across the management company and investment structures. The role requires a proactive finance leader focused on process efficiency, controls, and compliance.

Description
- Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain processes to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable function.
- Oversee vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and improve financial operations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Profile
A Successful Head Of Accounts Payable Should Have
- A strong background in accounting and finance.
- Previous experience managing an accounts payable function or team within Financial Services.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage and develop a team.
- A professional accounting qualification or relevant education is preferred.
