AddedEducation, a division of The Added Company, provides an array of services for students and student-athletes, in their pursuit of tertiary education opportunities. We are dedicated to up-skilling gifted students and student-athletes, providing them with resources and opportunities for leveraging their talent to access top-notch tertiary education globally.
Based in Singapore with operations across the globe, we are a team of young like-minded people united by a single mission: to support and promote sporting and academic excellence. Currently under the AddedEducation brand, our business needs are focused on US, UK and Canada university admissions services, boarding school preparatory services and pre-high school development services.
Beyond college counseling, we offer transformative developmental programs such as AddedNova — our in-house research cell that fosters intellectual curiosity and original thinking, Public Speaking — helping students master the art of confident communication, and the Book Club — designed to build critical reading and analytical skills. Together, these programs form the foundation of a comprehensive approach to education that goes far beyond applications, shaping well-rounded individuals ready for success on a global stage.
The Capability Centre at AddedEducation is a high-impact unit dedicated to enhancing students’ research capabilities and academic skills as part of their global education journey. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented associate to support the Head of the Capability Centre in managing operational workflows, student communication, mentor communication and project execution.
Role Overview
Entrepreneurial role, within the ambit of the organisation, high aspirations for AddedNova (Mentor base + Students enrolled).
The Head of AddedNova will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for the vertical. This role combines academic leadership, business growth, product innovation, operational excellence, and partnership development.

The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end student research experience while driving revenue growth, expanding mentor networks, launching new research pathways, building publication opportunities, and establishing AddedNova as a leading global research platform for high school students.
This is a leadership role requiring both entrepreneurial thinking and strong academic credibility.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Ensure exceptional quality across all research programs.
- Develop rigorous academic frameworks and research methodologies.
- Guide students through research topic selection, methodology, literature review, and project execution.
- Maintain high standards for academic writing and research integrity.
- Design structured research pathways across multiple disciplines.
Mentor Network & Quality Assurance
- Recruit, onboard, and develop world-class research mentors.
- Design mentor evaluation and quality assurance frameworks.
- Conduct regular mentor audits and performance reviews.
- Ensure consistent student experience across all mentors.
- Lead mentor engagement and retention initiatives.
Student Success
- Provide strategic guidance on research design and execution.
- Support students through publication planning and submission.
- Advise students on research ethics, academic integrity, and responsible conduct.
- Help students leverage research outcomes for university admissions and career development.
- Ensure high levels of student satisfaction and successful project completion.
Product Development & Innovation
- Design new research programs aligned with emerging academic fields.
- Launch interdisciplinary research pathways.
- Introduce scalable program formats and digital learning experiences.
- Continuously improve curriculum, mentor resources, and student experience.
Partnerships & Brand Building
- Build strategic partnerships with universities, research institutions, publishers, and industry organizations.
- Represent AddedNova at conferences and academic events.
- Strengthen the AddedNova brand within the global education ecosystem.
- Identify collaboration opportunities that enhance student outcomes.

Business Growth & Revenue
- Own the overall P&L and revenue growth of AddedNova.
- Develop and execute annual business growth strategies.
- Work closely with Sales and Counselling teams to improve conversion and student acquisition.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conduct webinars, increase awareness and drive new client sign-ups.
- Monitor business performance using data and KPIs.
Cross-functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Counselling, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership teams.
- Improve operational efficiency and delivery timelines.
- Drive continuous process improvement across the research ecosystem.
- Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms for key business metrics.
Publications & Showcase Opportunities
- Build publication pipelines for student research.
- Develop relationships with journals, conferences, universities, competitions, and academic organizations.
- Create AddedEducation-branded research showcases, symposiums, and conferences.
- Partner with global organizations to provide students with opportunities to present and publish their work.
- Expand external recognition opportunities for student achievements.
What We're Looking For
- Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
- 5–8+ years of experience in research, higher education, academic leadership, or research consulting.
- Experience managing teams and leading large-scale academic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies across multiple disciplines.
- Proven experience in publication processes, peer review, and academic writing.
- Experience building strategic partnerships with academic or industry organizations.
- Demonstrated success in scaling programs or business verticals.
