Head of Admissions and Registry Interim
Location: Electra House – London, EC2M 6SE Contract: Full-Time, 3-Month Fixed Term

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Admissions & Registry to join us during our key enrolment period. This is a hands-on role aimed at someone with Further Education (FE) and/or Higher Education (HE) admissions and registry expertise, ready to integrate swiftly into the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Registry function, overseeing:
- Admissions
- Enrolment
- Exams
- Timetabling
- Student finance
- Ensure excellent student service, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders
- Drive service improvements
- Support students through a critical recruitment and enrolment phase

About You
Qualifications
- Relevant degree
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English & Maths, minimum grade 4 (Grade C)
- IT-related qualification is desirable
Experience
- Experience in FE Registry, Management Information Systems (MIS), or similar roles
- Line management experience
- Developing and implementing administrative systems
- Direct engagement with students
- Experience using CRM systems
- Project managing the implementation of systems within education environments
Expertise
- Strong knowledge of:
- FE student information systems
- Funding and Individual Learner Records (ILR) requirements
- Admissions, enrolment, and registry processes
- Timetabling and resource planning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, with an understanding of:
- Technical systems
- Databases
- System integration
- Familiarity with Civica REMS and SharePoint is desirable
Skills
- Analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate clear, actionable insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience building effective relationships and collaborating with senior stakeholders
- Confident in planning, prioritising, and producing clear, concise reports

Salary
£70,000–£75,000 per annum (subject to qualifications and experience)
