Job title - Head of AI Insights

About Group Transform A

ITransform AI is building a Group-leading AI capability to make client’s industry benchmark for AI-enabled performance. We operate at the intersection of advanced technology and large-scale transformation, delivering measurable impact across a FTSE100 group.

Within this ambition, AI Insight is a critical pillar: transforming how the Group accesses, consumes and acts on data and shifting from retrospective reporting to proactive, AI-driven decision intelligence.

Contract

  • Until end of December with the possibility of extension

Location

  • Waterside (UB7 0GB)

Hybrid

  • 2-3 days onsite and frequent national & international travel if needed.

Pay

  • Premium daily rate (inside IR35)

About the role

The Head of AI Insight is a senior leadership role accountable for building and scaling client’s next-generation AI Insight capability.

Your purpose is to define and deliver a step-change in how insight is generated, distributed and consumed across the Group, moving to a unified, conversational, proactive AI insight layer built on the Central Data Layer (CDL).

This role goes beyond traditional BI or analytics leadership. It requires redefining the paradigm of insight consumption from “pull-based reporting” to “AI-driven push, nudging and decision support”, enabled through semantic abstraction, conversational access, and multi-channel delivery.

You will lead the development of the vision and associated architectures (including Claude-enabled interaction models), ensuring these are translated into production-grade, scalable capabilities adopted across the business.

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale data, analytics or AI insight platforms in complex, multi-entity organizations.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake / lakehouse architectures)
    • Semantic layers, metrics stores and data modelling
    • AI/LLM-enabled analytics and conversational interfaces
  • Track record of delivering user-facing products with high adoption.
  • Experience driving transformation from traditional BI/reporting to advanced analytics or AI-driven models.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, with credibility at senior leadership levels.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in fast-paced environments.
