Head of Analytical Quality Control

Günzburg, Germany - Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days WFH) - Part-Time Option Available

Up to €100,000 + 3% Bonus

Are you an experienced Analytical QC leader within pharma, chemicals or highly regulated manufacturing environments? Are you looking for a leadership role with real ownership, flexibility, and the opportunity to shape a function while maintaining work-life balance?

On offer is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of Analytical Quality Control within a global specialty chemicals business, leading both the people and the processes that underpin product quality. You'll have end-to-end responsibility across the QC lifecycle, with the autonomy to drive improvements, optimise lab operations, and influence quality strategy at site level.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage Analytical QC across a team of 10
  • Oversee all analytical testing, methods, and QC processes across the site
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards
  • Drive continuous improvement within lab operations, efficiency, and quality systems
  • Develop, mentor, and structure the QC team to support long-term capability
  • Act as a key stakeholder across Quality, Production, and broader site leadership

  • Proven experience in Analytical Quality Control within pharma, chemicals, or related regulated environments
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing laboratory teams
  • Strong knowledge of analytical techniques (e.g. HPLC, chromatography, spectroscopy or similar)
  • Experience operating within regulated quality frameworks (e.g. GMP or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Fluent German and English (or strong working proficiency)
