Exciting opportunity to recruit a Head of Ancillary Revenue based at Monument Place
About this role:-
The Head of Ancillary Revenue is accountable for the strategic leadership, development and delivery of TSGN's ancillary revenue portfolio, generating annual revenues in excess of £50 million and delivering year-on-year growth.
The role leads the commercial strategy, procurement, mobilisation, governance and performance management of all ancillary revenue activities across the business. The post-holder is responsible for maximising commercial value from existing and emerging revenue streams whilst ensuring alignment with DfTO objectives, passenger experience commitments, regulatory obligations and the wider business strategy.

As the senior commercial lead for ancillary revenue, the post-holder has end-to-end accountability for five major third-party contracts and associated revenue streams, including commercial strategy, procurement, supplier selection, contract negotiation, mobilisation, governance, performance management and renewal, ensuring delivery of sustainable long-term value-for-money and enhanced passenger outcomes. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the role operates at a strategic level across TSGN, influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally, working closely with Network Rail, other Train Operating Companies and commercial partners to identify opportunities to drive innovation, identify new opportunities and optimise revenue generation across the wider rail industry.

We are looking for someone who can bring the following skills to this role:-
- Strategic commercial forward-thinking with the ability to identify, evaluate and deliver revenue growth opportunities, anticipating future challenges and opportunities.
- Commercially astute and outcome-focused, seeking opportunities to maximise value and sustainable revenue growth.
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills, including complex procurement and supplier relationship management.
