About Us

At Bezos, our vision is to Deliver Happiness - for our team, for end consumers, for the e-commerce brands we serve, and for our logistics partners. We're the managed global fulfilment partner for scaling e-commerce brands: one platform and one team handling fulfilment across a global fulfilment network, spanning the UK, Europe, North America, and Australia. We give growing brands enterprise-grade logistics without the enterprise-grade complexity. The way we scale that promise without scaling cost is AI - which is exactly what this role owns. We're a fast-moving, AI-native, Series A startup that will almost double our business in 2026.

The Mission: What You Will Achieve

You will help us reinvent how Bezos runs - using AI to build a company where a small team operates like a much larger one. We’ve already proven the pattern: agentic tooling built on Claude is running real finance and operations work today. Now we want an exceptional AI-native leader to take that thinking into the heart of the business and own the transformation.

This isn’t a role for a back-seat strategist. You’ll go deep into how a core function actually works - the numbers, the operations, the decisions - and rebuild it around AI: automating the routine, sharpening the judgment calls, and freeing the team to do what only humans should. You’ll sit on the Senior Leadership Team, report directly to the CEO, and have the mandate to change how things are done.

Where This Role Points

Where this role points is deliberately flexible. We care more about landing an exceptional AI-native leader than about a rigid spec. Depending on your strengths, your first mandate could lean toward finance, operations, or the product itself - the common thread is using AI to transform how a core part of the business runs. Tell us where you’re strongest.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Core Pillars of Success

  • Find the leverage: Go deep into how a core function works and find where AI genuinely transforms it - what to automate, what to sharpen, what to rethink entirely.
  • Build it, don’t just plan it: Ship the agents, automations, and tools that change how the work actually gets done. Hands-on, fast, iterative.
  • Think like a product owner: Treat the function - and the product - like a product. Obsess over the user and the outcome, ship an MVP, measure it, and iterate.
  • Prove the ROI: Decide where AI creates real value vs where it’s a distraction, and prove it in time saved, cost removed, or revenue won.
  • Lead and level up: Own your mandate at SLT level, raise the whole company’s AI fluency, and build a team beneath you as it scales.

In Your First 90 Days, You Will

  • Learn the business end-to-end and map where the biggest AI leverage sits across finance, operations, and product.
  • Agree your first mandate with the CEO and ship one real improvement that changes how the work gets done.
  • Treat that first win like a product: define the outcome, ship an MVP, and measure the impact.
  • Establish how we build with AI here - a lightweight, practical standard the rest of the team can follow.

Who You Are: Skills & Experience

Non-Negotiables:

  • AI-native to the core: you already use AI every day to work faster and think bigger, and you’re genuinely excited to build with it (agents, automations, tools). You don’t need to be a professional software engineer, but you get your hands dirty.
  • You’ve owned and transformed something - a function, a team, a business, or your own company - and you can prove the impact.
  • Product mindset: you build for the user and the outcome, not the output. You ship an MVP, get feedback, and iterate, and you prioritise ruthlessly by value.
  • Exceptional analytical and commercial judgment: you reason from first principles, are fluent with numbers and unit economics, and know where the real value is.
  • High agency and bias to action: you take an ambiguous mandate and ship the 80% this week rather than plan it for a quarter.
  • Leadership: ready to own a function at SLT level and build a team in time; you carry the CEO’s and the board’s confidence.
  • Outstanding communication: you make complex things simple and influence across a business.
  • Startup temperament: high-energy, low-ego, thrives in ambiguity and a fast pace.
