We're looking for an exceptional Head of Investment Delivery to lead the delivery of our £20 million annual investment programme, ensuring more than 11,500 homes remain safe, compliant and fit for the future.

The impact you'll make
Reporting to the Director of Assets & Sustainability, you'll provide strategic leadership for FCHO's planned investment, cyclical planned works and disrepair services.
- You'll lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering major capital investment programmes from planning and procurement through to contract management and successful completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and provide excellent value for money.
- Working alongside colleagues, contractors and strategic partners, you'll ensure our investment programmes support our Homes Strategy, maintain regulatory compliance and continually improve the quality of our homes and customer experience.
- As a member of the senior leadership team, you'll help shape future investment priorities, drive innovation and continuous improvement, and ensure every pound invested delivers maximum impact for our customers and communities.
What you'll be responsible for
You will:
- Lead the delivery of FCHO's £20m annual investment programme, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Provide strategic leadership across planned works, cyclical programmes and the disrepair service.
- Develop investment programmes that support our Homes Strategy, Decent Homes Standard and long-term asset management objectives.
- Lead procurement, commissioning and contract management activities, ensuring value for money and high-quality service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to drive performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and CDM requirements.
- Lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and customer focus.
- Manage budgets, performance, risk and governance, providing assurance to senior leaders.
- Champion innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement across investment delivery.

What you'll bring
We're looking for an experienced strategic leader who combines technical expertise with commercial awareness
You'll have:
- Significant experience leading planned investment or asset management programmes within social housing.
- A successful track record of delivering large-scale capital investment programmes.
- Strong commercial, procurement and contract management experience, including JCT contracts.
- Excellent knowledge of building legislation, CDM Regulations, health and safety and regulatory compliance.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong financial management skills with experience managing significant budgets.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
- A degree in Building Surveying (or equivalent construction-related qualification).
- Membership of RICS, CIOB or another relevant professional body would be advantageous.
