The Role: Head of Branch Support

This is a pivotal senior leadership opportunity at the heart of our services. As Head of Branch Support, you’ll lead and develop a centre of excellence that empowers our branch teams, carers, customers, and families across our Visiting Care and Live-in Care services.

This isn’t just another customer service leadership role—it’s a chance to influence strategy, drive transformation, and create exceptional experiences across a nationwide, complex organisation.

You’ll shape how specialist support is delivered, ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standards of care, service, and communication that Helping Hands is known for.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leadership & Operations
    • Lead and develop Branch Support, Carer Services, and Out-of-Hours teams
    • Head and enhance a centre of excellence providing top-tier support to teams, carers, customers, and families

  • Customer & Service Excellence

    • Drive exceptional customer experiences across all key touchpoints
    • Shape and deliver a long-term workforce strategy aligned to Live-in Care growth
  • Business Impact

    • Partner with senior leaders to define operational priorities and business performance
    • Leverage customer insights, service data, and market trends to identify and act on improvement opportunities
    • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to boost quality, efficiency, and satisfaction
  • Compliance & Safety

    • Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory standards are upheld across all teams
  • Innovation & Technology

    • Drive automation, process improvement, and innovation to enhance service delivery
  • Commercial Growth

    • Support the expansion of Live-in Care while delivering against budget and forecast targets
  • Team Development

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of ~40 colleagues, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence

What We’re Looking For

✔ Proven leadership in customer-focused operational support roles ✔ Ability to deliver exceptional service for both internal and external customers ✔ Sharp commercial awareness and business acumen ✔ Experience influencing senior stakeholders and building cross-functional relationships ✔ Outstanding communication and leadership skills ✔ Track record of driving operational improvements, delivering measurable results ✔ Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance management ✔ Thrives in high-pressure, evolving environments ✔ Resilience, adaptability, and a solutions-focused mindset
