Head of Brand, Marketing & Customer Acquisition
Location: Birmingham (Head Office)
Reporting to: Founder
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 DOE + Performance Bonus
About Us
NCF Living is one of the UK's fastest-growing furniture retailers, with 24 stores nationwide and ambitious plans for continued expansion.
We're now looking for an exceptional marketing leader to take ownership of our brand, customer acquisition strategy and overall marketing function. This is a newly created leadership role that will play a key part in shaping the next stage of our growth.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Founder, you'll lead the development and execution of a commercially driven marketing strategy that strengthens our brand, increases customer acquisition, drives store footfall and delivers measurable sales growth.
Working alongside our Head of eCommerce, you'll oversee all marketing activity, ensuring every campaign and channel works together to maximise brand awareness, customer engagement and return on investment.
This is a hands-on leadership role with the autonomy to shape the future of our marketing function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the company's brand and marketing strategy.
- Drive customer acquisition and increase footfall across our retail estate.
- Lead the development of innovative in-store marketing, window displays and POS initiatives, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to enhance the customer experience, strengthen brand consistency and drive sales.
- Own and protect the NCF Living brand, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Lead all offline marketing activity, including TV, radio, outdoor, print, direct mail, store launches, sponsorships and events.
- Develop and execute PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and media coverage.
- Work closely with our digital marketing agency to ensure all activity is aligned and commercially effective.
- Manage external agencies and marketing suppliers to maximise ROI.
- Monitor marketing performance, budgets and customer insights, making data-led recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with Retail, E-commerce, Buying and Finance to support business growth.
- Build and develop the marketing function as the business continues to expand.

The successful candidate will act as the guardian of the NCF Living brand, maintaining brand guidelines and providing final approval on all marketing communications, creative assets and campaigns to ensure consistency across every customer touchpoint.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Significant experience leading marketing within a multi-site retail business.
- A proven track record of increasing customer acquisition, store footfall and revenue.
- Strong brand management and PR experience.
- Experience delivering large-scale offline marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing external agencies and marketing budgets.
- Excellent commercial awareness with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience within furniture, home interiors or another consumer retail business would be advantageous.
