I am currently partnering with a purpose-led, design-driven consumer brand at an exciting inflection point in its growth journey. Founded by a highly regarded creative, the business has built a loyal following through its distinctive aesthetic, emotional storytelling and a deeply held sense of mission.
They are now looking for a Head of Brand to join the senior leadership team and take full ownership of how the brand is built, positioned and scaled. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact role at a business with real heart, strong creative foundations, and bold commercial ambitions.
The Mission
As Head of Brand, you will report directly to the Growth Director and work in close partnership with the Founder & Creative Director and CEO. Your mandate is to translate founder-led creative energy into a coherent, scalable brand strategy — one that drives awareness, deepens emotional connection, and supports the business as it scales towards a significant revenue milestone.
This is not a role for someone looking to execute campaigns. It is a role for a brand strategist and commercial thinker who wants to define the platform, raise the bar, and help shape what a modern design-led consumer brand looks like at scale.
Core Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Direction
- Own and evolve the brand platform, working closely with the Founder to translate creative vision into clear strategic direction
- Strengthen positioning, distinctiveness and long-term brand equity across every major customer touchpoint
- Bring a strong point of view on where the brand should go, how it should evolve, and where it can become more culturally relevant
- Connect brand thinking directly to commercial performance — understanding how brand investment translates into growth, loyalty and revenue

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Lead and develop the Brand Marketing Manager to shape strategy and delivery across campaigns, launches, PR, partnerships and collaborations
- Lead and develop the Social & Influencer Manager, setting the strategic direction for how social and community build brand equity over time
- Define the content and campaign system that fuels every major channel — ensuring output is intentional, consistent and commercially grounded
Team & Function Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing brand team, setting the bar for strategic thinking and creative quality
- Work cross-functionally with ecommerce, acquisition and product to ensure brand and growth operate as one integrated machine
- Partner closely with the Founder on brand vision, acting as the strategic voice that translates ideas into plans a team can execute
Who We Are Looking For
- An experienced brand leader with 6+ years in Brand Strategy, Brand Marketing or Integrated Marketing, ideally within a consumer business where design, story and aesthetic genuinely matter
- A strategic thinker and commercial operator — someone who understands brand equity, how to build it, and how it connects to growth
- Someone who can take a founder's vision and turn it into a strategy a team can execute, thinking in years not weeks, and seeing brand and growth as one machine
- A people-led leader who builds teams and followership — whose bar is high, whose feedback is useful, and who makes the people around them better
- Experience in DTC, design-led or premium consumer brands is a strong advantage, as is UK and US market exposure
- A background in brand strategy or brand marketing is essential — this is not a creative direction or production-led role
