Position: Head of Business Development
Salary: £81,500 per annum (minimum salary negotiable based on experience) Location: Remote (requires London access) Tenure: Permanent
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:
- Set and execute the Business Development strategy and sales targets for learning products across the Authorised Training Employer (ATE) portfolio, including leading positioning of the ACA qualification.

Sales Execution & Team Development:
- Implement robust, relationship-based sales practices by refining internal processes, incorporating best practices, and leveraging market insights and client feedback.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of regional Business Development Managers (BDMs), setting clear KPIs and driving pipeline development and performance.

Stakeholder & Commercial Leadership:
- Build and maintain senior relationships with key ATE partners, acting as the escalation point for strategic accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities, expanding growth segments using market insight, performance data, and client intelligence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with regional teams, product teams, and marketing to ensure learning products align with Evolving ATE needs, position effectively in the market, and support revenue growth.

Performance & Reporting:
- Monitor and report sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue performance—proactively providing insights, challenges, and recommendations to achieve targets.
- Represent the organisation externally with senior stakeholders, contributing to the member value proposition.
Key Requirements
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Proven track record in B2B sales/business development leadership, ideally specialising in learning, training, or professional development.
- Experience managing remote teams across various locations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and reinforce strong results.
- Commercial acumen with hands-on ownership of pipeline reporting and revenue targets.
Personal Attributes
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly motivated and proactive, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Eligibility for UK-wide travel:Required valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
