About the Role

An ambitious space technology business is seeking a Head of Business Development to support its next phase of growth. Working at the cutting edge of the space sector, you'll play a key role in expanding strategic partnerships, unlocking new opportunities, and driving commercial success across government and industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with key organisations across the UK space and defence landscape
  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities aligned with the company's growth plans
  • Lead strategic pursuits from initial engagement through to successful award
  • Collaborate with internal teams to position innovative technologies in the market
  • Act as a senior representative of the business across customer and industry engagements

Your Experience

  • Background in the space, defence, or advanced technology sectors
  • Well-established network within the UK space community
  • Success securing strategically important programmes or commercial opportunities
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication skills
  • Holding or able to obtain UK Security Clearance
