Company Overview
A growing public sector services organisation delivering facilities management, maintenance, transport and specialist support services has created a Head of Business Development role to drive commercial growth, identify new opportunities and secure new business across multiple service areas in response to market developments and increasing demand for outsourced services.
Your new role
The Head of Business Development will lead business growth by developing a strong pipeline of opportunities, building senior stakeholder relationships and securing new business, while acting as a key ambassador for the organisation and its services.

- Create and deliver business development strategies that drive growth and support long-term organisational objectives.
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking and stakeholder engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across public and private sector organisations to generate sustainable revenue growth.
- Lead bids, proposals and commercial submissions, working closely with internal teams to ensure opportunities are commercially viable and deliverable.
- Monitor market trends, procurement activity and competitor developments to identify future opportunities and inform strategic planning.

Key Details / What you will get in return
- £70,000 per annum pro rata 0.78%
- Up to 30 days' annual leave (pro rata) per annum (excluding bank holidays)
- Hybrid working arrangements
- DBS Check required
