Head of Capital Projects and Planning
The Head of Capital Projects and Planning is a senior leadership role within the Estates and Facilities Department, responsible for overseeing the Trust’s capital programme. This includes management of all construction, maintenance, and operational activities ensuring they align with the Trust’s Estates Strategy, comply with all legislative standards, and meet sustainability goals. The role includes a strong emphasis on sustainability, planning, space management, collaboration, and alignment with broader NHS priorities.
Additionally, the post holder will contribute to the Strategic Estates strategy, working closely with the Director of Estates and Facilities to support configuration, consolidation, and the effective use of resources in line with the Trust’s clinically led strategy.
The Estates and Facilities Department work with a wide range of consultants for specific capital projects. The post holder will ensure that full and appropriate supervision is in place and undertaken with all staff involved with capital schemes.
