Head of Channel Partnerships

Head of Channel Partnerships – Sonata One

Sonata One is a rapidly scaling, regulated fund services and fintech business. We’re The Private Funds Clearinghouse, connecting over 53,000 investors with 6,500 funds and 180 fund managers globally. Our mission is to harmonise the end-to-end private markets investment process within one platform.

Investors gain a seamless, one & done experience—from fund selection to settlement and reporting—backed by a globally compliant KYC passport and 24/7 support. Fund managers benefit from faster capital raises at lower costs, tapping into a wider pool of pre-approved investors.

Founded in 2015, Sonata One operates globally (US, UK, Luxembourg, Guernsey, South Africa, and Mauritius), under the mantra: #OneGlobalThread. Our values—challenging norms, connecting people & systems, and committing to a shared vision—define our collaborative culture.

We’re now seeking an experienced Head of Channel Partnerships to lead our global strategy and drive commercial growth through strategic partnerships.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director – Global Growth, this role is a critical milestone in Sonata One’s growth journey. You’ll:

  • Shape our strategic partnerships to expand our global presence.
  • Lead a growing CRM team.
  • Play a pivotal role in expanding Sonata One’s influence within the private markets industry.

This leadership position is ideal for a candidate who thrives on driving commercial success, building long-term partnerships, and embedding Sonata One as a foundational partner for fund managers and investors worldwide.

Revenue Generation

  • Develop and execute the global channel partnership strategy to align with Sonata One’s commercial growth objectives.

  • Identify and evaluate new strategic partners within the private markets ecosystem.
  • Design long-term partnership strategies that align with Sonata One’s global expansion plans.
  • Expand the partner network in key global markets, ensuring strategic fit and commercial value.
  • Assess partners based on market reach, client alignment, strategic fit, and long-term ROI.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
