Head of CIPD Programmes

Are you an experienced CIPD professional with a passion for leadership, quality, and learner success? We're looking for a Head of CIPD Programmes to lead our CIPD provision across Levels 3, 5, and 7, ensuring outstanding quality, compliance, learner outcomes, and programme performance. This is a leadership role responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of our CIPD portfolio. You'll lead programme quality, assessment and IQA activity, curriculum development, learner experience, and team performance, ensuring full alignment with CIPD standards and organisational objectives. As the primary contact with CIPD, you'll oversee external quality assurance, drive continuous improvement, and lead a team of tutors, facilitators, assessors, and associate markers to deliver exceptional learning experiences.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery and performance of CIPD programmes.
- Oversee quality assurance, IQA, moderation, and compliance activities.
- Manage and develop tutors, facilitators, assessors, and markers.
- Act as the key relationship lead with CIPD and support external quality assurance activities.
- Monitor learner achievement, satisfaction, retention, and programme performance.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and programme innovation.
- Lead the development of learning resources, assessment materials, and curriculum content.
- Coach and mentor colleagues to build capability and improve learner outcomes.
- Provide performance reporting and strategic insight to senior leadership.

About You
Essential
- CIPD Level 7 qualification.
- IQA qualification (Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance or equivalent).
- Experience leading CIPD programmes, quality assurance, and assessment activities.
- Strong understanding of CIPD standards, compliance, and learner-centred delivery.
- Experience managing and developing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, and leadership skills.

- Chartered CIPD status.
- Experience working with professional bodies or awarding organisations.
