Department: Claims
Location: London (Hybrid) - 2 days in the office
Role Purpose:
We are seeking a commercially minded Head of Claims to lead our Claims function in London. This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for claims strategy, service delivery, delegated authority oversight and customer outcomes. You will shape capability, strengthen governance and work closely with clients, brokers and senior stakeholders to drive performance in a growing specialty insurance business.
Responsibility:
- Lead and develop a high-performing Claims team.
- Own claims strategy, service delivery and customer outcomes.
- Oversee delegated claims activity across third-party partners.
- Strengthen governance, controls, reporting and performance.
- Build effective relationships with clients, Underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement across claims operations.

What you will bring:
- Senior claims leadership experience within insurance.
- Strong technical knowledge of claims handling and delegated authority oversight.
- Sound understanding of claims governance and UK regulatory expectations.
- Commercial judgement, strategic thinking and strong decision-making skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and lead change effectively.
