Are you a senior claims leader looking for an opportunity to shape the future of a growing specialty insurer?

Our client is an innovative specialty insurance and reinsurance business that partners with leading underwriters to connect capital with complex risk across global markets.

Due to continued growth and a recent restructure, they are seeking an experienced Head of Claims – UK & Ireland to lead the claims function across both jurisdictions. This is a highly visible leadership role offering significant Board exposure and the opportunity to influence claims strategy, governance and technical excellence.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Group Head of Claims, you will be responsible for overseeing the UK and Ireland claims function, providing technical oversight of complex and high-value claims, strengthening governance, and representing the function at Board level.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, flat-structured organisation where you'll have genuine influence and autonomy while remaining technically involved.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
