Boxcar Hyde Park Coffee Lead

Boxcar Hyde Park is nestled in Connaught Village, a quiet yet characterful corner of central London, just a short walk from Hyde Park—perfectly detached from tourist crowds. Our doors open at 8am daily, offering pastries baked fresh in-house, a seasonal brunch and lunch menu, and coffee designed to slow down and savour.

Our identity is rooted in coffee. This role demands passion, ownership, and a hands-on approach to leading our caffeine-driven community.

About the Role

This coffee opportunity is about taking full ownership of quality, consistency, and guest experience from the moment that first cup is brewed.

You’ll:

  • Train and develop baristas and front-of-house team members, fostering confidence and expertise.
  • Create seasonal specials that feel fresh, exciting, and rooted in our café’s identity.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, shaping future product trends with the wider team.
  • Ensure seamless workflows—extracting consistently, managing stock, maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting challenges.
  • Help define the look, feel, and culture of a neighbourhood café built on coffee passion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
