About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, commercially-minded finance leader to own our Germany and AMEA Expansion Market's financial strategy and lay the foundations for European expansion.
You'll act as the central voice on performance, forecasting, and financial decision-making. From CAC and contribution margin to free cash flow and scenario planning, you’ll be responsible for turning financial insight into action.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional leaders across growth, operations, product, and care to shape the our Germany and AMEA Expansion Market's financial trajectory, while ensuring the business runs efficiently and invests wisely. This is a high-trust, high-impact role where the stakes, and the pace, are high.
While this role is DE and Expansion market focused today, it has clear runway to grow into a broader European leadership role as we expand across new markets and business lines.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Own the Germany and AMEA Expansion Market financial model — Build and manage end-to-end models for revenue, CAC, LTV, margin, and free cash flow. Your outputs will guide day-to-day decisions and long-term bets.
- Lead the planning process — Drive monthly re-forecasting, annual planning, and scenario modelling in close collaboration with Group FP&A.
- Be the commercial partner to growth and ops — Set CAC and payback targets, assess performance by cohort, and guide spend allocation to maximise ROI.
- Run commercial analysis that unlocks growth — Lead deep dives into pricing, retention, margin, and expansion levers to identify opportunities and recommend trade-offs.
- Make the numbers visible — Build dashboards and trackers for key DE performance metrics (e.g. contribution margin, CAC, LTV, cash flow), keeping the business tightly aligned.
- Ensure clean, accurate financial operations — Partner with Group Finance on reconciliations, cost allocation, and timely month-end closes.
- Build for scale — Design financial systems and insights that don’t just serve the German markets, but become the blueprint for future markets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
