Salary: £125,000 – £150,000 + Car Allowance + Executive Bonus & Benefits

Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre, commercially astute Head of Commercial Finance to join a premier FTSE-listed brand. This pivotal role oversees the financial strategy of a multi-billion-pound business unit that is currently thriving and experiencing rapid market growth.

Serving as the strategic right-hand person to key board members—including the Managing Director, CFO, and Operational Directors—you will act as the architect of commercial strategy for this division. You must be highly commercial, operationally grounded, and completely command your numbers. This role requires an individual who provides a "glove-like fit" to the wider business, seamlessly bridging the gap between corporate finance and live operational execution.

You will inspire and develop a high-performing team of six experienced Commercial Business Partners in a relentless, fast-paced corporate environment.

If you have worked in a fast-paced multibillion revenue PLC or PE business at this level, I would like to hear from you....

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and elevate a team of 6 experienced Commercial Business Partners, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Embed yourself and your team into the heart of operations, ensuring finance is viewed as a critical enabler of business growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
