Head of Commercial Finance - Rapid Start Up
Central London | Hybrid (4 Days) | £110,000 to £130,000 + Profit Share (4-Year Vesting)

Now they're looking for a Head of Commercial Finance to build a best-in-class commercial finance and FP&A function that helps drive the next phase of growth.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll build and lead the Commercial Finance and FP&A function, partnering with the leadership team to drive performance, support strategic decisions and provide the financial insight needed to scale a high-growth SaaS business.

You'll be responsible for:
- Building the Commercial Finance and FP&A function from the ground up.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning.
- Developing commercial models, SaaS metrics, scenario planning and strategic analysis.
- Partnering with the Executive Team to improve commercial performance and support key decisions.
- Producing board reporting, KPI dashboards and meaningful business insight.
- Supporting fundraising, investor reporting and strategic finance projects.
- Analysing acquisitions, post-deal performance and value creation opportunities.
- Owning cashflow forecasting and supporting future funding plans.
- Supporting pricing strategy, commercial decision making and business investment.
- Improving reporting, systems, data and financial capability across the business.
- Leveraging AI, automation and technology to improve forecasting and business insight.
- Acting as a trusted adviser to the Finance Director and senior leadership team.
About You
We're looking for someone who's bright, ambitious and genuinely enjoys operating in a fast-moving environment.
You'll probably be:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- An experienced Commercial Finance or FP&A leader who has built or significantly developed a finance function.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and excited by rapid growth.
- A natural business partner who enjoys influencing senior stakeholders.
- Commercially curious with the confidence to challenge and improve how things are done.
- Able to demonstrate real commercial impact throughout your career, regardless of whether that's been in a £20m, £100m or £500m business.

Experience within SaaS, software or another high-growth technology business would be highly desirable.
