Head of Commercial
About Us
We are an established cosmetics business with two complementary divisions:
- Contract manufacturing for leading beauty brands.
- Our own portfolio of consumer brands.
We are entering an exciting stage of growth and have recently strengthened our leadership team with new Heads of Operations and Marketing.
We are now looking for a commercially minded leader who can help bring together sales, marketing, product development and commercial planning to drive the next stage of our growth.
The Opportunity
This is a genuine opportunity for someone ready to step into their first broad commercial leadership role.
You may already be leading commercial projects, key accounts, product portfolios or marketing within an SME and be ready for greater ownership.
We’re looking for someone with excellent commercial judgement, strong leadership potential and the ability to learn quickly.
Purpose of the Role
To coordinate and drive the commercial performance of both our manufacturing and own-brand businesses by aligning sales, marketing and product development around a clear commercial strategy.
This role is about creating momentum, improving decision-making and helping build a business that is less dependent on the founder.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership
- Develop and coordinate the commercial plan across the business.
- Bring together Sales, Marketing and Product Development around common priorities.
- Lead weekly commercial planning meetings.
- Drive accountability for commercial actions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
