About us
Outcomes First Group is the UK's largest independent provider of specialist education and care. Through our divisional brand, Momenta Connect, we work with schools, Local Authorities, Multi-Academy Trusts, healthcare providers and families to remove barriers to education and improve outcomes for children and young people.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Commercial & Partnerships to help shape our future growth strategy, develop key partnerships and expand our reach across education, health and children's services.
About the Role
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity within Momenta Connect, responsible for driving commercial growth, developing strategic partnerships and identifying new opportunities across the education, SEND, healthcare and wider public sector landscape.
Working closely with operational and clinical leaders, you'll lead business development activity nationally, build trusted relationships with commissioners and education leaders, and help ensure our services reach more children and young people who need them most.
We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and is passionate about creating partnerships that deliver both commercial success and meaningful social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver Momenta Connect's commercial growth and partnership strategy.
- Identify opportunities across Local Authorities, Multi-Academy Trusts, schools, NHS organisations and private markets.
- Lead national business development activity and secure new contracts, partnerships and framework agreements.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with commissioners, education leaders and strategic partners.
- Represent Momenta Connect at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth and commercial performance.
- Monitor pipelines, forecasting, KPIs and commercial reporting.
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing commercial and business development team.
- Work collaboratively with operational, clinical and central support functions to support organisational growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
