Job Title: Head of Communications and Brand
A purpose-driven organisation is seeking an exceptional Head of Communications and Brand to lead its brand strategy, external voice and creative direction during an exciting period of national growth.
Salary: £75-85k
Working arrangement: Hybrid working is three days a week on site/ two from home.
About the Role
Leading a small team, you’ll shape a clear, compelling and consistent brand across its three brands. A key part of your role will be developing emotionally powerful, insight-led communications that support recruitment campaigns and strengthen public trust.

What You’ll Lead
- Brand strategy, identity and tone of voice across all channels.
- Group-wide communications, PR, internal comms and reputation management.
- Creative direction for campaigns, visual identity and design standards.
- A high-performing team including communications and creative specialists.
- Stakeholder engagement with senior leaders and external partners.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a Head of Brand Comms role, ideally with a purpose-based but commercially focused organisation.
- Experience across proactive media relations and social media and reactive crisis comms management examples.
- Proven ability to deliver strategies that drive growth, reputation and engagement.
- Track record of working across several brands and integrating strategy and activities with wider marketing team.
- Experience leading creative direction and managing agencies.
- A values-led, collaborative leadership style with excellent storytelling skills.
- Influential leader able to gain buy in from leadership teams and professionally challenge when needed.
