Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Significant senior experience leading an integrated communications, marketing, content and events function, ideally in health, technology or a related B2B sector.
  • A record of building or transforming a function, with the energy and judgement to challenge established activity and stop work that adds little value.
  • Strong commercial experience developing audience, content and event models that generate measurable income, leads or partnership value.
  • Excellent editorial judgement and the ability to translate complex health, policy or technology subjects into compelling narratives.
  • International event experience, including working with sponsors, partners, boards, senior stakeholders and high-profile speakers.
  • Confidence moving between strategy and hands-on delivery in a small, resource-conscious organisation.
  • Experience leading cross-cultural remote teams and using data, analytics, and emerging technologies (including AI platforms) to improve operational efficiency.
  • Hands-on experience managing CRM databases (specifically Salesforce), team workspace platforms (such as Notion), and managing website domains/hosting environments.
  • Professional fluency in English; another European language, particularly Spanish, would be an advantage.

What This Role Offers

  • The opportunity to shape how a global not-for-profit convenes its community, tells its story and builds a more sustainable future.
  • A broad senior mandate at the intersection of health, strategic communications, partnerships and events.
  • Flexible remote working with colleagues and partners across Europe, Asia, the USA and beyond.
