About Redditch United Football Club

Redditch United Football Club is committed to being much more than a football club. We believe football has the power to inspire, educate, and transform lives, creating opportunities for people of all ages while strengthening our local community.

Over recent years, the club has established a growing portfolio of community programmes that support children, young people, and adults across Redditch and Worcestershire. These include football development, school partnerships, curriculum support, holiday activities, inclusive football, fundraising, health and wellbeing initiatives, and community engagement projects.

As highlighted within the club’s Social Impact Report, our ambition is to become one of the region’s leading community-focused football clubs, delivering meaningful social impact alongside success on the pitch.

To support this vision, we are seeking an ambitious and innovative Head of Community to lead the next stage of our development.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of Community will provide strategic and operational leadership for all community activity delivered by Redditch United Football Club.

The successful candidate will oversee the planning, delivery, and growth of the club’s community programmes while identifying new opportunities to increase participation, strengthen partnerships, generate sustainable income, and maximise social impact.

The role will lead existing programmes including holiday camps, after-school provision, curriculum support, football development, and community events, while developing exciting new initiatives in mentoring, alternative provision, and education.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about using football to improve lives and who wants to play a key role in shaping the future of one of Worcestershire’s most ambitious football clubs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
